Sitka Outdoor Recreation Coalition (Get Out, Sitka!) to meet on Thursday, March 3

The next meeting of the Sitka Outdoor Recreation Coalition (Get Out, Sitka!) will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, at Harrigan Centennial Hall. Please mark the time on your calendar and bring a friend.

Agenda items for the meeting include going over the results of our outdoor programming survey, discussing the recently released Sitka Sustainable Outdoor Recreation Action Plan (including parts we contributed about programs), discussing a “Have you been outdoors today? Get Out, Sitka!” media campaign and more.

The Sitka Outdoor Recreation Coalition (Get Out, Sitka!) started as a community project from the 2010 Sitka Health Summit. Our mission is to encourage more Sitka residents, especially kids and families, to get outdoors for recreation. Our meetings are free and open to the public. Please join us.
