Sitka Sound Science Center to host second session of ‘Be A Biologist’ program

The Sitka Sound Science Center is hosting the “B2: Be A Biologist” afterschool program for Keet Gooshi Heen Elementary School students (grades 2-5). The afterschool program lets young students explore animals, science and Sitka’s wild natural world.

The first session, about coastal biology, took place in February and early March (it ended March 6). The second session, on ocean biology, takes place from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesdays from March 27-April 24. The session costs $50 and registration takes place at the Sitka Sound Science Center, located in the Sage Building on Lincoln Street near Crescent Harbor.
