Sitka National Historical Park to host kid-friendly tidepool walk on Saturday

TidePoolWalk

When the tide goes out, the table is set! Join us for this special Sitka National Historical Park program, exploring the diversity of resources in the intertidal area.

Seasonal Biologist James Sparks will guide visitors through the tidepools, exploring the historical and ecological richness of this important ecosystem. This one-hour walk will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Sitka National Historical Park Visitor Center.

Please wear appropriate closed-toe shoes for tidepool exploration. Families are welcome, and children younger than 18 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
