Sitka’s 4H program seeks volunteers to help with programs

Want to help young people learn a variety of life skills? The Alaska Way of Life 4H program hosted by the Sitka Conservation Society and University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service seeks adult volunteers to help with its programs.

Some of the programs hosted by the Sitka Spruce Tips 4H club include photography, cooking, food and nutrition, knitting, shooting sports, sewing, birding, gardening, leathermaking, and more. 4H is a program for ages 5-19.

For more information about being a volunteer, contact Claire Sanchez at 747-7509 or claire@sitkawild.org.
