High-school-aged students are welcome to sign up for the eight-week skills course. Sessions take place every Friday, starting on June 7 and ending on Aug. 2. Registration closes on May 31.
Topics include visiting remote field sites across Baranof Island, conducting marine debris surveys, monitoring invasive species, and traveling by boat to conduct wildlife surveys. Participants can become certified field technicians if they complete the full series.
